Dear Edge Radio and Saints Of
God,
I write to you in the midnight
hour as the cool night air gently blows through the windows.
I can hear the sounds of crickets
in the distance and an occasional night bird singing it's song
of Praise to the Creator.
As you know, the past few months
have been not only a time of testing but also a time of growth
in the spiritual realm.
I believe the handwriting is on
the wall and the sheep and the goats are now being separated.
The coming months in this nation
are going to be a time of despair like we have never known
and still, there are many others who are not prepared to face
this battle. Physically or spiritually prepared.
While I was canning green beans
yesterday I wondered how many people out there drove through a
fast food restaurant and gave no thought as to stocking up their
own kitchen shelves with extra supplies.
While I was thinking of these
things the Lord spoke to me in regards to stocking up on
spiritual supplies as well.
"Can we do this?" I asked the
Lord.
How do we stock up on spiritual
strength?
Isn't praying in our
closets everyday enough?
The Lord said no. It is not
enough.
If you are like many people when
it comes to preparing such as myself, you keep a list of your
supplies and recheck them over and over again. Food, water,
first aide kits, etc.
But the one thing I was
overlooking was my prayer closet supplies.
It is time to stock up Saints of
the Most High God. Stocking up on spiritual strength will be the
far most important thing we have ever done in this hour we are
living in and what is ready to come upon us.
First we must get on the
threshing floor and let the Lord get out all the junk in our
spirits. All of the junk from the little iniquities to the
bigger ones, we somehow overlook DOES prevent the Holy Ghost
from working within us.
Praying for others in your closet
will be non-effective if you harbor a spirit of hate and
viciousness in any form. It doesn't matter if you feel you have
a justifiable excuse for hating or spreading hatred. In the eyes
of the Lord Jesus Christ, any hatred is and will always be
wrong.
Where does anger and hatred come
from? We know the answer to this question.
After the threshing takes place,
you will begin to feel the power of the Lord working inside of
you. This is where you will actually feel love start to blossom
and grow in your heart. This agape love enfolds you with warmth
and enables the Holy Ghost to manifest himself inside of you.
He will not take up residence
inside of someone who does not have this love.
After this love embraces your
entire being , begin to praise him! This opens access to the
throne room. This is where you will get your prayers heard and
if it is His will, your prayers answered.
This is also where you will get
your strength in the spiritual realm to battle evil forces.
This is stocking up in your
prayer closet. This is what the body of Christ should be doing
right now. The spiritual needs are great in this land, but the
supplies of the spirit are abundant if we only reach out to the
Father and ask for them.
He knows what each of us have
need of and he will deal with you and your spiritual
strength according to your specific relationship with him. But
only, after we submit to him on that threshing floor he has so
graciously provided.
Are you stocked up on your
spiritual strength today?
There is no cost you know. Jesus
paid the price.
All along these mountains,
Beauty shines within,
echos of His heartbeat,
casting shadows on the wind,
I have never known such love,
or felt a sweeter thrill,
Than loving my Savior
hidden in these hills.
May God's love shine within your
heart too.
