I am IndyInJapan (L.
M. Indy Schneider, L.Ac.) and was born in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Benjamin
Franklin's birthday the week the Chinese
Communist took control of Beijing. Raised in
Indianapolis, Indiana, the eldest of nine
siblings, I was a quarterback on a Scecina
Memorial High School Indianapolis City
Champion football team, once held the
Indiana state high school freshman record in
pole vault, and was a Junior Olympics gold
medalist in gymnastics. I studied
Acupuncture in China, Yoga in India, and now
grow organic rice and vegetables in a
mountain valley near Nikko, in rural Japan,
where I live with my wife and two children.
